Overview

The Marketing Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Marketing Production team, including distribution, routing, tracking and archiving of materials related to print advertising, out of home advertising, PR collateral and retail marketing collateral.
This role requires an understanding of the creative development process and the science and technology of printing.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Production Managers, Director and Project Management teams to direct and track the creative development process.
  • This includes routing of artwork such as chromes, digital scans, color proofs, final approved high and low res digital images, between outside vendors and internal marketing partners in accordance with production schedules.
  • Generate POs for advertising, collateral and retouching. Create priority charts for advertising vendors and update according to calendar changes. Release ad materials to vendors and media outlets.
  • File POs, tracking confirmations and shipment notifications in job jacket folder. Archive and categorize color proofs, as well as digital files named according to archival naming standards. Request, collect and archive tear sheets for daily newspaper and monthly magazine ads.
  • Partner with Studio Manager, Traffic, Marketing Managers and vendor base to create a more dynamic internal digital data distribution process. Assume sole responsibility of certain aspects of this process.
  • Train and supervise production interns and/or freelance coordinators related to their job description.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in advertising, post production, marketing.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment.
  • Ability to be flexible.
Preferred:
  • International experience.
