Job Description:

The Information Security Analyst is vital member of the Information Security Office by performing continuous monitoring of critical systems for the State of Maine.
The candidate will help maintain + implement infrastructure and run Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) programs.
The candidate must be knowledgeable about how DAM fits into the broader Security Program and generally understand Data Security concepts around data loss prevention (DLP), tokenization and encryption, database activity monitoring. 

Representative Tasks: 
  • Support Enterprise Security with managing malware and incident response along with supporting the on-call rotation
  • Assist Enterprise Security with managing PhishME - helping setup and track phishing exercises + triage along with any additional analysis.
  • Handle coordinating, training and tracking SANS (Security Awareness training) for all State of Maine employees + contractors 
  • Assist Enterprise Security with managing McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator - general knowledge, troubleshooting, alerts and responses, coordinating upgrades
  • Be able to provide customer service & respond to Footprints tickets assigned to Enterprise Security -- good communication skills 
Able to write scripts (Perl, Powershell) and maintain them for the security team. 
Splunk experience is preferred but NOT required.
