Our client is seeking a Sr. Manager of Global Engineering and Maintenance Strategy

The Global Facilities team meets the needs of a complex and diverse internal customer base in locations ranging from their World Campus and manufacturing center in Westbrook, ME to labs, customer support, and other business operations throughout North America and around the world.

As a Sr Manager, Global Engineering & Maintenance Strategy you will be responsible for all facilities related technical and engineering support and expertise needed to execute both engineering/capital projects and maintenance activities in a world class environment.
You will lead a strong team of engineers and maintenance engineering professionals and will oversee all activities of the engineering services group.
You will support maintenance operations and capital project based improvements, including development of technical specifications for construction of projects, equipment maintenance and repair specifications and procedures, PM and reliability program development and implementation, building automation systems (Client), and technical support of emergency repairs at locations across the globe. This is a highly visible role that interfaces and partners with internal customers and business team stakeholders to ensure that services align with business needs, financial capabilities, and growth plans, all while operating with an emphasis on technical excellence and customer support.

Requirements:
  • 15+ years operational, engineering and maintenance with 7+ years managerial experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Project management and construction skills preferably in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare setting.
  • Facilities background (HVAC, Boilers, Chillers).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, assessment/provision of appropriate staffing levels to meet support requirements at multiple sites; staff planning and scheduling; extensive knowledge of practical engineering concepts, capital project execution in a biotech environment, reliability centered maintenance practices equipment related to maintenance operations.
  • Strong customer focus, ability to work collaboratively, organized, prioritization. Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) a plus.
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with AutoCAD and BIM software systems such as REVIT.
