Our Client in looking to implement a waiver, MC 1115, which will add work requirements, time limits, asset test and copays and/or premium charges to individuals who are on or are applying for a Client's program and meet specific criteria.
This waiver will introduce new business operational process and procedures; creating the need for a statewide training solution prior to implementation for general eligibility, and new roles/responsibilities and processes for new operational functions.
Policies will need to be drafted and/or updated, and to support the project/policy requirements, significant systemic changes with cross departmental impacts will need to be designed and coordinated. Coordination of a project with a large scope containing multiple deliverables, dependencies, critical paths and business impact requires us to request a lead resource to fully manage and operationalize.

Projects are implemented within OFI frequently, and are generally handled through subject matter experts in the areas of; policy, business operations, business technology, and management.
Resources in these areas are working multiple prioritized projects including our business rules engine replacement (BRE), hardware upgrades, Legislative initiatives and operational functions.
Current resources will be required to participate, but there is a need for overall management, scheduling and risk mitigation of a dedicated project manager to ensure the success of MC 1115.

Job Description:
  • Development, adjustment and status reporting of the project plan and work breakdown structure, with key milestones.
  • Coordination, management, and risk mitigation of project work tasks defined in project plan, and resource allocation.
  • Coordination, management, and risk mitigation of project work tasks defined in project plan, and resource allocation.
  • Develop a quality control plan and accountability toward the measures.
  • Develop a communication matrix and accountability for project team communications.
  • Create presentation material for project meetings involving user, stakeholders and steering committees.
Operating Systems:
  • Windows 7 with Office 2016 (Advanced – 2 years minimum); Our office uses Windows 7, need to be Advanced in Office 2016 products such as Outlook, Excel, Word and perhaps PowerPoint
  • JIRA (Intermediate – 1 year minimum); We use Jira for project and task tracking
