Inventory management/Inventory Controls​
  • It's an inventory management/inventory controls positions
  • Mostly working in SAP/Oracle ERP and inventory management systems
  • Desirable backgrounds include Buyers, procurement types, supply chain management
  • Could do some ad hoc reporting or tasks, otherwise daily activities done in the system
  • Some travel could be expected to Mexico
  • Strong excel skills (pivot tables and vlookups at least)
  • Junior level position but should have a bachelor's degree.
  • Jobs responsible for the movement and storage of materials, components and finished goods.
  • Support Job Category: Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
  • Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
  • Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
  • Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
  • Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
  • May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

  • Ensures security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review.
  • Conducts physical inventories and leads cycle counts. Analyzes and, when able, corrects cycle count discrepancies.
  • Audits incoming and outgoing shipments to assure quality and accuracy. Compiles and documents all transactions for data entry.
