This position will require a polished professional with several years of experience in customer service, excellent communication, people and phone skills, friendly can do attitude and team player.
Works under general supervision and most frequently on own initiative performing tasks independently at the Front Desk location.
May on occasion assist other administrative staff with small projects.

Reception desk hours are 8am-5pm, with assigned work hours, breaks/lunch periods on a pre-established, rotating schedule.

  • Other tasks include Microsoft Outlook, calendaring ability, answering and routing phones, interfacing with clients and visitors, employees and those visiting from other offices, executive staff and with various contacts at client site; 
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, familiarity with Cisco Phone Console, a plus.
  • Greet and direct clients and guests. Handle mail, UPS, and supply orders.
  • Some coordination of security access badges and escort for contractors, vendors and business people. With focus on providing a high level of proactive and professional customer service support at the front desk, effectively representing the client.
Other duties may include:
  • Ordering and Stocking kitchen & office supplies, business cards, UPS supplies.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint helpful. Coordinate internal/external events, Mail/deliveries- incoming and outgoing (UPS, Courier, FedX, etc.), distribute mail to team daily.
  • Can multi-task, pay attention to details, is technically savvy, can interact with people at all levels of the organization.
  • This position requires punctuality, including opening procedures for the office.
  • Open office, check in/out with Supervisory, respond to email communication. Workplace support may include: making coffee, set out coffee cups, water glasses, creamers, straightening conference rooms, and check building for any issues and notify Facilities.
  • Keep front desk manual updated, order copier supplies, monthly meter readings, maintain all office equipment, work with serviceman until equipment is fully operational. Systems/IT service coordination liaison.
