Our client is seeking a HR Administrative Assistant
 
Responsibilities:
 
The work will primarily entail record management, HR phone hotline coverage, and data entry. 
The position will take a lead role in ensuring employee personnel files, including terminated and retiree files, are organized, compliant with the Company's Record Retention policy and will assist in preparing the files for relocation to CT.
This position will also be responsible for other data and logistical support of the transition to the centralized Shared Services Model, including processing progression increases and retirement paperwork for RGE, NYSEG and CMP, submitting OCRS for HR transactions, assisting with CMP internal union job postings and other data entry as required.
 
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience Requirements:  High school diploma required. Some college education preferred. 
  • 1 to 2 years' experience in an office environment as an admin assistant or file clerk. 
  • Microsoft Office experience, computer database skills, records management, and general skills related to project administration. 
  • Must be self-directed, able to work independently. 
  • Must be comfortable lifting and shifting file boxes.  
NOTE:  Must be able to travel for day or overnight trips once or twice a month.
 
SAP experience preferred but not required.
