The Position
We are looking for a Senior developer who will work on a variety of development tasks in a growing organization and focus on our client-server transit workforce solutions. The hired candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing new features, bug fixes, and enhancing existing code. Participate in cross-functional teamwork such as code-review, documentation, and defining specifications.
Required Qualification and Experience:
  • The successful candidate must possess a College or University degree in Computer Science, Engineering Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of C++ experience in Windows environment.
  • Strong experience in developing GUI with Visual C++ and MFC is preferred.
  • Strong experience with Object-Oriented analysis and design.
  • 5+ years of strong programming experience with relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle).
  • Experience in HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Knowledge of C# .NET is an asset.
  • GUI design experience is an asset.
  • Experience with thin-client and service-oriented architectures is an asset.
  • Knowledge of transit, human resources and finance applications would be considered an asset.
