The DevOps Engineer works directly with development and operations teams to solve operational issues and create tools, processes, and systems that improve our overall operational reliability and resilience. This role is hybrid software developer, operations admin, and general problem solver. Whether you've had a similar role in the past or consider this area your "next step”, we want to talk.

Key Responsibilities
● Member of the Release and Development Operations team, responsible for resolving software-related incidents, including urgent and outage level
● Production support responsibilities for software and infrastructure fixes
● Day to day operational support of continuous integration, release and source control tooling
● Develop short and long-term software fixes on a variety of systems and technologies
● Work with software, infrastructure, network engineers and DBAs to solve productivity challenges, drive efficiency, automate and streamline environment builds
● Co-own (with teams) monitoring & alert configuration to detect, triage and resolve issues quickly
● Build tools to enhance production triage and improve time to detect issues
● Participate in on-call rotation and take charge of escalated outages, lead calls until they are resolved, and make sure the root cause has been found and fixed
● Investigate existing code and contribute fixes where applicable Qualifications
● Experience on the Microsoft .Net stack, including C#
● Experience with MS SQL
● Windows/Linux system administration experience
● Experience with Microsoft IIS configuration and maintenance
● Some experience with application performance monitoring, alerting mechanisms, and automated remediation
● Ability to quickly triage problems under pressure, determine root cause and drive resolution
● Desire to work in a fast paced, evolving, growing, and dynamic environment
● Curiosity to explore new ideas and passion to make them happen
● BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) Nice to Haves:
● Experience preferred with release and build automation tooling (e.g. Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Git, TFS, etc.)
● Exposure to infrastructure automation (e.g. Chef, Puppet, etc.)
● Exposure to cloud services (e.g. Azure, AWS, etc)
