The EHR IT Operations Revenue Cycle Analyst support and working directly with the Senior Vice President, Revenue Cycle Management reports to the Senior Director, EHR IT Operations providing and CFO to analyze and provide recommendations for changes in electronic health record systems. This position will communicate and assist in directing those changes to EHR IT Operations and other departments, as needed, throughout the agency. The Revenue Cycle Analyst will work closely with the EHR vendor to ensure all technical requirements are adhered to while providing Revenue Cycle management and EHR IT Operations understanding to fulfilling the organization's revenue cycle initiative.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Train and work with EHR vendor for complete understanding of billing module and full cycle of clinical base data collection through billing and collection
  • Works closely with Senior VP, Revenue Cycle Management to assess understanding and usage of EHR billing module from insurance eligibility through denial management.
  • Will assist in development and assessing business metrics for reporting purposes and ensure quality improvements to the revenue cycle.
  • Ensure assigned resources on development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements and identify and assist in the resolution of systems issues
  • Assist in design of configuration management around billing and revenue cycle processes and procedures and once adopted are followed consistently
  • Assist teams in the development of best practices toward the needs and goals set down by organizational needs
  • Facilitate the investigation of production outages or problems and the subsequent restoration of service, determine root cause and ensure remediation
  • Lead development and maintenance activities for assigned set of back-office applications
  • Lead key technology design decisions; ensure all points of integration are incorporated
  • Collaborate with assigned team and business units to execute EHR roadmap and proposed solutions
  • Oversee outsourced vendor resources and validate deliverables across full revenue cycle management
  • Collaborate with all IT support groups to firm up EHR requirements, validate they are accurate, oversee testing of the delivered product per schedule and budget
  • Coordinate and Manage all Revenue Cycle and EHR IT Operations projects
MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • May be required to work a flexible schedule.
  • This position requires the use of a personal vehicle.
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.


EXPERIENCE
  • Three (3) years plus of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Reporting Services.
  • Minimum of three (3) years in healthcare industry preferably as a data financial analyst.
  • Strong understanding of information systems principles and techniques of data gathering, analysis and management.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports and contract agreements
  • Experience with managing teams to work towards development best practices
  • Strong, proven people management skills
