Intent:
 
The IT Director is responsible for developing network maintenance and growth plans in addition to continuously seeking to improve technology to enhance the quality of our programs.  Oversee annual and project budgets, and keeping the executive team up to date on the latest networking technologies that could help the company succeed.
 
 
Description & Influence:
 
  • Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
  • Oversee effectiveness of all Danette May technology platforms.
  • Manages all technology related projects, including website improvement and updates.
  • Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
  • Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
  • Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
  • Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
  • Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
  • Work closely with departmental managers to determine the maintenance and growth needs of the network
  • Monitor changing network technology and deliver a technology update to the executive team each quarter
  • Research and implement new company email program and Cloud
  • Determine the rationale and methods for upgrading company network software programs each time an update is released
 
 
Background & Experience:
  • Bachelor’ Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 7-10+ years’ experience in information technology management
  • Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and client/server technology
  • Web development abilities preferred
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills required
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds
  • Is creative, innovative and able to easily adapt to rapid changes in consumer preferences
