Job Description:

Role: Social Media Strategy client lead

You know your way around the digital marketing ecosystem, and stay on top of emerging digital marketing trends and capabilities. You will be integrating the worlds of paid and organic, ad and content, programmatic display and social, email and website. Your clients want your point of view about new opportunities to grow their business using digital media. You will be our clients' go-to for strategy: a trusted advisor who understands what keeps them up at night.

You have a strong command of social media and have a passion for helping brands solve their business challenges by developing insightful content strategies, from tweet copy to immersive site experiences. You will skillfully mine social insights using our best-in-class set of social listening tools, syndicated research, and data assets. You understand the value of studying audiences' interests to develop content strategies for site and social that are integrated, stand out, and make an impact.

You have an inquisitive mind and a passion to Client insights that help shape your strategies. You are a writer and a storyteller, who can interpret data and insights to paint a vivid picture of the audience, or recommend compelling content territories. You have a way with words, as well as a knack for creating effective visuals in presentations.
You believe that, at the end of the day, it's the results that matter. You are driven by performance, and love to see how your strategies are adding points to the board. You know what KPIs to look for, and collaborate closely with analytics team members to shape a story around the data.

You know it takes a team to deliver the best work. Your strategy team is your squad, supporting you with ideas and example deliverables, methods and templates that draw on their diverse set of skills and experience. You will also be working closely with teams across creative, paid social and display, paid search and SEO, all who rely on your strategic direction.


• Bachelors Degree required
• 6 to 8 years deep experience in social media and content marketing – experience with paid social advertising, programmatic display, search marketing, and SEO is a plus
• 3 to 4 of those years working in an agency
• Competency using social media listening tools such as Netbase, Digimind, Fanpage Karma, etc.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
