My direct client has an immediate need for a Marketing Data Analyst.

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Center City)

Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire
Salary: Open
Start Date: ASAP

General Purpose:
The Marketing Data Analyst plays a key role with the Marketing Team by providing actionable insights through analysis and research to help with critical business decisions, identify opportunities and enhance marketing and sales efforts.

Essential Functions:
  1. Responsible for the MCIF system administration, including monthly updates and executive team reporting.
  2. Provide monthly and ad hoc reporting and analysis for marketing campaign response and ROI, membership composition, KPIs, marketing dashboard and trends.
  3. Proactively identify opportunities for income generation through marketing initiatives, special offers and product recommendations.
  4. Develop segmentation strategies to contribute to the expansion of member relationships.
  5. Communicate data analytics and make recommendations based on research and analysis to ensure complex work is accessible, actionable, and drives business results.
  6. Work with Design and New Media Specialist to develop A/B and multivariate testing strategies to measure and increase effectiveness of online creative and content.
  7. Monitor competitors and provide analysis.
  8. Monitor member feedback and provide analysis to support fact-driven and member-focused decision making.
  9. Serve as Marketing's liaison for data warehouse initiatives.
  10. Conduct market research as needed.
  11. Generate direct mail and email marketing lists.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job requirements (Knowledge/Abilities):
  1. Strong demonstrable experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  2. Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills, including formal presentation skills.
  3. Ability to conduct critical analysis, identify key insights and "tell the story”.
  4. Knowledge of targeting and segmentation to drive campaign effectiveness.
  5. Prior experience with Touché Analyzer, Google Analytics, SiteImprove and SQL preferred.
  6. Expertise in MS Office including advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
  7. Ability to build data visualizations levering various tools.
  8. Understanding of optimal use of data as related to CRM systems.
  9. Strong attention to detail and execution
  10. Ability to solve problems creatively.
  11. Desire to learn and keep up with an industry that is always changing.
  12. Ability to collaborate with team members, as well as work independently.

Job requirements (Education/Experience):
  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field, including Market Research, Marketing, Journalism, Social Science, Statistics, Data Science or Business Analysis.
  2. 2+ years marketing experience, ideally in the financial services industry.
