Requirements:
  • Proven working experience in designing, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows based environments
  • Significant experience administering Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server (2008 R2 – 2016), Exchange
  • Backup experience such as Symantec Backup Exec, Veritas, etc.
  • Working knowledge of a wide range of datacenter technologies including: Local (LAN) and wide-area networks (WAN); NAS and/or SAN storage technologies. Oracle technologies, Microsoft Windows Server, firewalls, and VPNs Network protocols such as TCP/IP, WINS, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, FTP, HTTP, SMTP, etc.

Senior Systems Administrator
This role requires superb technical competency to deliver mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security. Qualified systems administrators will have a background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.
Responsible for providing day-to-day administration of the windows-based client network using ECMO, WSUS McAfee E-Policy Orchestrator and End Point encryption, etc. Securing the clients windows network using group policies in a single forest, multiple domains, and multiple sites' Active Directory infrastructure. They will facilitate and provide support for a geographically dispersed staff. Provide guidance, standardization, and assists with drafting and updating documentation for all Systems Administration and infrastructure projects and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure
  • Responsible for designing, integrating, and implementing new solutions to the windows environment.
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
  • Analyzes and defines system requirements which may include Enterprise services, servers, and workstations
  • Standardizes and ensures team best practices in: Active Directory management, Patching and Scanning, Virtualization (VMware) creation and management, System Monitoring, Use of DOD issued Smart Card for Active Directory authentication, Deployment of new Windows systems following the organization established baseline
