Job Description:
Our client is a millennial focused media company and one of the TOP 10 publishers on Facebook, with 1.9 billion monthly views and more than 52 million fans. They are looking for a Senior Vice President of e-commerce to head our dynamic e-commerce team in the Los Angeles office. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of the eCommerce initiative of a massively -growing top tier social media publisher. They branded content spans multiple verticals including food, beauty, parenting, home décor and others.

Responsibilities:
·         The SVP of eCommerce directs the development and business models of the overall ecommerce strategy
·         This individual will be responsible for the research and development of new product offerings (physical and digital)
·         Person must have experience launching new and unique offerings for well-known brands with large audiences
·         Utilize their expertise to the functionality of all eCommerce processes from the consumer end to back-end systems which process payments and initiate shipments/logistics
·         Supervise and collaborate with a number of teams that work on content, web design and usability to create an optimal experience for current and prospective customers
·         Interface with marketing and content department to help emphasize and push offerings towards consumers
·         Expand current services, grow online market share, and increase efficiency of online sales models
·         Ensure qualified traffic is being driven to the website through online acquisition initiatives
·         Stay up to date with eCommerce technology changes and trends as well as new product trends
·         Make appropriate recommendations for the eCommerce platform/s to improve the customer acquisition process
 
Requirements:
·         8+ years of experience in consumer driven business
·         Extensive practical experience in the eCommerce business sector as a merchandiser, web presence marketer, or a similar role
·         Strong understanding of the numerous channels that drive traffic and conversion
·         Extensive experience running and reporting on ecommerce KPI's
·         Strong presentation skills
·         New product/offering innovation
