This includes working collaboratively with the overall SAP STEP project and program management teams and aligning to their processes/procedures.

  • Conduct interviews to gather and document the requirements for the future state Order Management System that will be built in SAP.
  • Proactively question the SME's to ensure that their requirements are addressing "future state” business needs and not simply documenting the current state as it exists today related to our OMS processes.
  • Identify gaps between current/future states and define if gaps are must have items for the business.
  • Work with the HLRP and GBS teams to understand how the validated requirements map to existing standard SAP processes and identify gaps for escalation to decision makers.
  • Pro-active risk management: Own and maintain formal/informal risk register to anticipate potential dependencies (issues / uncertainties within team's control) and risks (outside of team's control), prepare collaborative risk response/mitigation plans and when appropriate initiate pre-emptive action and/or clarify and follow through with team escalation plan if scope, schedule, cost or quality becomes risk to achieving objectives.
