The foundation...
We are looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our public website as well as several other internal applications.
Core responsibilities...
Web developer responsibilities include primarily adding features to our public website and maintaining it, while also analyzing company needs and supporting those needs through other internal applications.
Responsibilities
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
  • Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
  • Create and maintain software documentation
  • Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling public websites and other internal applications
  • Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
The tools for success...
  • Web development experience creating dynamic, database driven web sites using ASP.NET , the Microsoft .NET platform, and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with database design and SQL programming
  • Experience with cascading style sheets (CSS) and client-side JavaScript
  • W3C Standard HTML knowledge including semantic mark-up and emerging HTML5 standards
  • Understanding of browser technologies, standards support, and cross-browser coding
  • Adherence to industry standard best practices for ASP.NET web application development, unit testing, and project documentation
  • Passionate about staying current with evolving web trends and new technology
  • Approaches the development process from the end-user perspective and uses that knowledge to enhance the overall user experience and prioritize usability
  • Ability to work within the Agile development methodology and produce iterative work in defined sprint cycles
  • 4 year college degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or comparable work experience)
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
  • Positive can-do attitude and ability to thrive within a fun team environment
