My top tier client in the Navy Yard is hiring a Volume Licensing Specialist!
Must be able to interview Friday 4/20 and start ASAP!

The ideal candidate must have an active Secret Clearance or above and ESL experience.

Title: Volume Licensing Specialist
Location: Washington D.C.
Duration: 3 Month Contract to Hire
Salary: Dependent on Experience

The Volume Licensing Specialist (i.e. Licensing Administrator) is responsible for daily management of all operational activities associated with software licenses. The Licensing Administrator is responsible for ensuring accuracy of software orders and compliance with contract requirements. The Licensing Administrator provides process improvement recommendations and insight to design processes that meet ongoing needs of customers and the business. The Licensing Administrator also provides customer assistance in initiating new agreements and the tasks associated with enabling the customer to acquire newly-procured licensing.

  • Ensure accuracy of orders submitted
  • Analyze product mix on orders and/or quotes and makes upsell and cross sell recommendations as appropriate
  • Assist with software activation calls and guide Customer Support Managers (CSM) through license renewal process
  • Support technical and sales account teams with operational and administrative tasks associated with licensing
  • Respond to email or phone inquiries from technical and sales account teams
  • Serve as subject matter expert for all assigned software and order processes
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process development and improvement
  • Responsible for management and accuracy for all assigned software orders
  • Provide quality assurance by ensuring all steps for software agreements are followed
  • Proactively manage orders and agreements
  • Handle order escalations with internal departments and vendors
  • Submit necessary documents or resources in accordance with agreements
  • Engage with internal departments to assist in the completion of daily operational requests
  • Effectively manage software practice tools
  • Achieve necessary certifications in assigned license programs as needed

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance (or reciprocal clearance from a related Agency)
  • Associate's degree or higher in Business-related field
  • Proven strong analytical skills
  • Proven track record of high satisfaction ratings from project stakeholders
  • Demonstrated strict attention to detail, accuracy and completeness
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct research and learn new systems/reports
  • Well-organized and able to prioritize project work
  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively and manage multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification is desirable
  • Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) experience is desirable
