The Salesforce Business Analyst will help facilitate communication between the business and project team to identify and clarify business needs.
  • Prior experience on Salesforce is required. Prefer Healthcloud and Salesforce communities experience.
  • Analyze business requests in comparison to Salesforce technology to identify the best goal state that will meet business needs
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
  • Performs work using existing SDLC standards (Agile), methodologies & processes and understands other systems/business processes relationship to each other.
  • Prepares, develops and conducts clients and systems training.
  • Independently conceives and develops general approaches to the solution of systems problems which require application of basic technical principles. Exercises latitude in approach to problem and solution.
  • Builds relationships, initiates and cultivates open, honest relationships with colleagues, customers, contractors, and vendors by establishing rapport, developing an understanding of others' needs, promoting common goals, and following through on commitments.
  • Conveys information effectively through verbal, written, and presentations to stakeholders and team members, both internal and external to Client, using appropriate communication protocols. Identifies ways to increase customer satisfaction. Documents agreements and commitments and keeps direct customers informed throughout the project or initiative.
  • Work directly with business managers and end-users to analyze simple to moderately complex business problems at the departmental level and propose technology solutions. In the Business Analyst role, the incumbent may leverage other IT resources but is primarily responsible for interaction with the customer and generating the deliverables
  • Interview managers and end-users individually or in small groups; prepare a succinct statement of the business problem and gain consensus among customers for both technical and business suitability; prepare simple process and logical data models to help drive out requirements
  • Leverage internal IT resources to identify alternative technology solutions and recommended approaches; develop the business case with high-level estimates of cost, time and business value; document findings in detailed project proposal; present proposals to business and IT management; translate client requirements into highly specified project briefs.
  • Consults with functional areas to develop understanding of the varied and complex business needs supported by the system. Responsible for determining how changing business needs will affect the system. Understands the role of the system in the big picture and provides ideas and recommendations regarding the evolution of the system.

Qualifications
  • Healthcare, Manufacturing and supply chain experience is a plus

  • Lead testing efforts, Test Plan Creation and support
  • Work with end users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & regression testing to accurately prioritize defects and re-test resolved issues

  • Able to work alongside external consulting firms, 3rd party vendors and offshore teams
  • Assess projects & timelines for capability, feasibility and efficiency
  • Provide alternate approaches and solutions to a given issue

Education:
BS in Computer Science, Math or Engineering

Years of Experience:
5+ years' experience in Salesforce.com platform as a BA Required
