The Business Analyst will be responsible for overall requirements gathering approach using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Responsibilities will include system analysis, gathering requirements using reverse engineering methods from existing legacy systems, meeting client expectations, coordinating with development and testing teams. The role will support in addressing business challenges by reviewing, analyzing and documenting business requirements to design and/or recommending technology and business process improvements and solutions.
The role will blend strong analytical and business process management skills, and collaborate with the business units and IT Systems Engineering teams to help develop solutions with impact. This key role functions as a liaison between IT and business departments and must have excellent listening and communications skills, as well as a relentless focus on not just the "what” and "how” of the process is documented, but why the process has impact.

Position Objectives:
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Determine and document user requirements for business processes and abide by those requirements for future projects
  • Hands on in writing user stories, estimation, leading scrum ceremonies.
  • Experience creating business process flows, SOP, SLA's
  • Must be able to draft business process, procedures and SOP's
  • Day to Day interactions with PM and product owners
  • Develop comprehensive E2E test cases at the application and multi-application levels.
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Participate in or conduct User Acceptance testing
  • Update, implement and maintain procedures
  • Identify business trends utilizing real data, compile analysis reports that are delivered to developers and then follow-up on all results
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies
  • Document and communicate the results of efforts to team
  • Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports
  • Work closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff
Preferable Qualifications & Experiences:
  • A bachelor's degree in business or related field or an MBA
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in business analysis or a related field
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • The ability to influence stakeholders
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Evaluate trends in data or information
  • Ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams to drive project objectives, business requirements, and implementation support.
  • Process oriented approach and strong ability to document business processes
  • Advanced technical skills in documenting and testing user requirements
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • Experience with Jira for entering and maintaining user stories, test scripts, etc.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Practical application ability with Microsoft Office and Visio
  • A track record of following through on commitments.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • A history of delivering and supporting successful projects.
