Description:
  • Candidate should be self-starter, able to work efficiently with project team and drive the team to meet task deadlines
  • Must be proficient in setting MS Project Plan with task assignments, facilitate meetings with team and senior leadership using concise status updates within PowerPoint slides
  • Must be able to make decisions by thinking through options and be able to 'connect the dots' on how things relate to one another, as well as impacts based on feedback from team members
  • Must be proficient at keeping budget and actuals for projects, as well as have excellent communication and organization skills
  • Candidate should be able to manage multiple projects at one time and maintain meeting agendas and minutes
  • Must be able to accurately reflect risks and have mitigation plans in place and be able to resolve issues that arise based on mitigation plans. Technical tools that will be used include MS Project Server, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Planview (Innotas)
  • Potential projects that are assigned could be for BTS functional areas that could include Manufacturing/Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Business Intelligence, and Purchasing



Responsibilities:
  • Coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department
  • Oversees all aspects of projects
  • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project
  • Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects
  • Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project
  • May require a bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department
