Summary:
  • Our client in the digital payments industry is seeking an energetic digital marketing strategist who will be responsible for shaping the company's web and digital strategy from conception through execution. Given the size of the team, we're looking for someone who can develop and drive the strategy, manage a small team, and serve as individual contributor when called for.
  • This individual will steer and implement strategies for information architecture, design, content, SEM/SEO and all marketing web-based interactive experiences.
  • The ideal candidate will lead the development and execution of all web projects, measured against specific goals that enable the company to drive strong customer value, customer growth, and revenue performance.
  • Preferential consideration will be given to qualified individuals who possess a background in enterprise software, cloud applications, supply chain solutions, and/or financial services. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a prior history of developing and executing successful B2B online marketing strategies that resulted in quantifiable increases in audience engagement and revenue growth.
Skills and Requirements
  • Drive evolution of the online experience for visitors through the adoption of new technologies and online marketing techniques
  • Develop strategic online marketing plan and manage implementation efforts
  • Envision and drive a plan for ongoing development, enhancement, and maintenance of all company Web properties
  • Find creative and technical solutions related to achieving specific business goals, demand generation campaigns, and content marketing strategies
  • Advise marketing leadership team on latest Web trends, best practices, and standards
  • Work to evolve and improve SEM and SEO strategies which deliver measurable results against specific marketing initiatives
  • Utilize analytical tools to monitor and report on customer/prospect engagement and target areas for improvement
  • Develop and oversee all Web governance policies
  • Plan and execute usability testing and design validation
Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or web development/design
  • 7-10 years online marketing experience, including Web strategy and user experience expertise in a corporate and/or agency environment, with at least 4-6 years in a leadership and staff management role
  • Effective collaborator with proven ability to partner with related internal teams such as marketing operations, demand generation, IT, content marketing and creative team
  • Strong conceptual design skills that translate user and business needs into successful Web experiences
  • Deep experience in website optimization and SEM techniques. Prefer global experience.
  • Knowledge of usability methods and best practices, cognitive web principles and methodologies
  • Excellent project/time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities as well as strong follow-through
  • Solid background in UI/interaction design and modern Web technologies
  • Experience in Information Architecture including use cases and specifications development
  • Superior verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Strong team player who is a self-starter and highly motivated, with the ability to take initiative
