Title: Senior Qlik Lead Developer/Architect
Location: North Chicago, IL
Type: 6+ month contract

Sr. Qlik Lead Developer/Architect to work with our cross-functional team, architecting and designing and lead across the Operation business Insight organization delivering data via reports/website content to multiple business functions.
Core Expertise to include more than 10+ years' experience in more than one of the technologies and processes:
  • Work with a cross-functional team of developers and business analysts to deliver on data analytics initiatives
  • Define, develop, and implement QlikView/ QlikSense dashboards and reports
  • Create and review technical designs that align with our business segments
  • Understand Qlik's in-memory data discovery architecture and ensure adherence to Qlik's best-practices and standards
  • Developed advanced scripting, aggregation functions, advanced charts, extensions, N-Printing. MashUp, Widgets etc.
  • Develop a solution/framework for provisioning data for consumption by business users who create Qlik applications.
  • Good understanding of Infrastructure, performance tuning etc
  • Manage technical scope and client expectation, onsite and offshore coordination
  • Develop, maintain and continually enhance a strategy around QlikView Data (QVD) files
  • Advanced scripting and ETL, data modeling (star schema), Working with large data sets
  • Experience with multiple database platforms (RDBMS, NoSQL, HIVE( Hadoop), SAP etc)
  • Leading small group of developers/scrum team
  • Able to design distributed applications
  • Experience with reusable Spring Framework
  • Experience with software programming languages, coding standards.
  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 10+ years' experience overall IT experiences
  • An Agile mindset with experience working in Agile environment
  • A spirit of collaboration and transparent communication
  • Evaluating open source and vendor products
