Job Description
A non-profit organization that offers more than 120 study abroad programs worldwide for college students is looking for a Help Desk Technician.
The primary responsibility of the IT Client Services Technician is to work with internal customers to provide assistance and resolution to Information Technology issues. The IT Client Services Technician works primarily in a level one IT customer support capacity while assisting with any additional IT-related functions where needed. The IT Client Services Technician contributes to enforcing policies, procedures, and standards and ensures their compliance with information systems goals and procedures.

  • 1 year experience in Level I support or corporate helpdesk/ technical operation environments, working directly with end users or equivalent education.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience with selected computing platforms or network environments, including Windows 7 and Windows 10.
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
  • Ability to troubleshoot multiple devices including desktops, laptops, tablets, phones and printers.
  • Basic experience administering Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and machine imaging
  • Working knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles and standard practices.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and work cooperatively with management, customers and all stakeholders whether written or verbal and document interactions in the Helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical professionals.
  • Proficient with remote support and screen sharing software.
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM) experience.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment when handling a variety of issues.
