The User Experience Researcher will be primarily responsible for designing, conducting, analyzing, and reporting on user-centered design research and usability testing for all platforms (mobile, 10ft and responsive website). Additionally, this candidate will also be responsible for establishing a UX research process that encompasses industry best practices and will be the gatekeeper of UX analytics (outlining, organizing and analyzing data events).  A successful UX Researcher must be able to work with minimal supervision on multiple concurrent projects.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a member of a team that acts as a 'repository' of research-based usability knowledge and current analytic trends
  • Determine user needs/goals by conducting task-focused analyses
  • Propose new features/UX solutions that are substantiated by their analytics findings
  • Establish a process for UX Research best practices within the department 
  • Creating test plan
     
Qualification Requirements:
  • A suitable candidate will have at least 2 years of work experience in statistical analysis, qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, product usability moderating, experimental design, and test method selection.
  • Candidate must display a strong comprehension of the strengths and limitations of the different research methods, inclusive of when and how to apply each in product/market/consumer analyses.
  • In addition, a candidate for this position must have had proven successful experience in establishing a process for UX research that
  • Experience with Mixpanel is a plus
  • Experience using Charles Proxy is a plus
