My direct advertising agency client is looking to hire a Senior Social Strategist to join their team on a permanent basis.
 
Responsibilities  
  • Manges day-to-day strategy and tactic execution for 1 – 2 accounts
    • Includes, but not limited to, creative briefs, engagement strategy, influencer marketing, paid social, in-person events, live activations, content strategy
  • Leads day-to-day execution of online engagement and publishing
  • Manages and maintains responses matrixes, engagement guidelines, process documents, etc.
  • Monitors social listening dashboard(s) for and engages with proactive opportunities and potential risks
  • Manages risk analysis, sets client risk thresholds, provides mitigation recommendations, leads escalation process
  • Utilizes native platforms and third-party social media tools for monitoring, publishing, engagement, and analysis
  • Assists director(s) in campaign development from research, social listening, and community insight, to strategy development, engagement tactics, and execution
    • Provides input to creative briefs, campaign strategies, engagement guidelines, etc.
  • Partners with business analysts to deliver regular campaign and community reports
  • This position may have direct reports and/or will oversee junior employee work
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in marketing, public relations, or related fields
  • 2 – 4 years relevant experience in social media / digital marketing
  • Proficiency using all social networks and corresponding business sites (i.e., Facebook Business Manager)
  • Proven experience managing & executing online reputation, community management, or customer service
    • Experience using review sites and online forums for business purposes (i.e., Yelp, Google) preferred
  • Skilled in developing creative briefs and collaborting with creative teams
  • Experience working on channel, content, and/or engagement strategies 
  • Strong research and social listening skills
  • Paid social experience preferred, influencer marketing experience a plus
  • Comfortable utilizing social media dashboards, monitoring/social listening tools, and publishing tools
    • Sprout Social, Sprinklr, and/or Netbase experience a plus
  • Strong presentation skills with client-facing experience
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and corresponding Google documents
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Attention to detail, organized
  • Ability to multi-task, works well under pressure
  • Proactive, takes initiative
  • Able to work in a team or individually
  • Experience with nonprofits, financial institutions, or QSRs a plus
