The Team:
The Marketing team is responsible for brand management, corporate communications, marketing, digital strategy and design, graphic design and corporate events. Our goal is to raise the firm's visibility and obtain and retain clients. We seek to deliver the most effective, innovative and scalable ways to express the traits that set us apart: our close ties to leading academic institutions, investment capabilities, client solutions and industry expertise.

The Marketing team is part of the Business Development team, a growing group of approximately 170 employees dedicated to excellence in client service.

Your Role:
We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join the Marketing team. You will report directly to the Head of Design and create attractive, user-centric experiences across multiple platforms (e.g., print collateral, web, mobile, banners, email, presentations, environmental, etc.). In this role, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining and implementing various internal and external marketing touchpoints. Strong project management ability, conceptual skills - in both print and digital – and design production capabilities are required. Must have exceptional attention to detail and follow through, as well as the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and with a variety of stakeholders. Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is required. Proven ability to contribute creative designs and a sample portfolio required.

  • Deliver successful print and digital design solutions within the companies corporate brand guidelines.
  • Able to work independently and own projects through completion.
  • Work effectively with other designers and writers – and be willing to assist other team members to complete projects.
  • Work collaboratively with a variety of internal stakeholders and steward the usage of approved design guidelines and templates.
  • Assist in implementing improvements in departmental procedures to increase efficiency, quality and usability of current prototypes.
  • Demonstrate expertise in using Adobe Creative Cloud software for both print and digital designs.
  • Proficiently use Microsoft Office products: edit PowerPoint presentations, create charts using Excel and create publications in Word.
  • Create emails using email vendor platforms such as Act-on or Pardot.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a graphic designer or art director working on projects and programs in a high-demand, fast-paced environment.
  • Design experience in both print and digital (mobile experience a plus).
  • Financial services experience a plus, interest in asset management a must.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.). Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email marketing tools preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines while also maintaining flexibility to change focus quickly as priorities shift.
  • Strong conceptual thinking, with an ability to execute creative solutions from start to finish.
  • A strong creative portfolio that demonstrates creativity, innovation, conceptual thinking, strong design ability, data visualization, layout and typographic skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, empathetic, and the ability to effectively communicate information cross-functionally.
  • Proofreading and quality control skills focused on accuracy of typing, layout and format.
  • Aptitude for learning and using new software.
