The Group Director ensures the ongoing health and deepening of client(s) relationships. This position fosters client loyalty through multi-level relationship building and leadership of assigned teams in the delivery of products and services that exceed the client's objectives and expectations. The Group Director provides leadership and vision in setting program strategy and works with teams to deliver a superior level of account service, quality of work, operational and financial oversight.

The Group Director will work as close partner to senior client marketing leadership, helping shape their ideas into salable projects, by assembling successful teams who are expert in crafting digital and brand strategies for consumers and practitioners. The Group Director will work autonomously and independently to identify opportunities, bring new thinking to the client, and create content that can be used to further the client's vision for the business.

This position fosters trust and constructive teamwork on the client's business that entails collaboration with other practices/agencies/vendor partners. This position carries the day-to-day responsibility for effective financial management, operations and marketing solutions and innovation of one or more key clients.

Essential Job Functions
  • 50% - Partnering with senior client leadership and providing strategic brand planning expertise
  • 25% - Create executional plans and oversee implementation, assigning appropriate resources to program components
  • 25% - Operational and financial oversight, including team development, reconciliation of SOWs, resource utilization, employee management, recruitment, and expense management 

Bachelor's degree in Advertising/Marketing or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience. MBA or graduate degree highly preferred.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in account management with at least 5 years selecting, developing, and leading a team of 5 or more employees.
  • Experience supporting variety of client verticals including pharmaceutical brands preferred
