Director of Digital Marketing
 
Reporting to the Vice President, the Director of Digital Marketing will lead a team tasked with demand generation and marketing funnel optimization. Using inbound marketing tactics such as search engine optimization, social media, website conversion testing, online paid advertising, and email marketing you will grow our database, feed an inside sales team and grow overall company revenues.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Lead a team of marketers to drive key business metrics including leads, SQLs, Opportunities and revenue.
  • Proactively drive strategic innovation.
  • Reduce cost of customer acquisition and increase lead to customer conversion metrics.
  • Grow the team through hiring and training.
  • Set team strategy through analysis of historical marketing data.
  • Own relationship with sales and forge strong communication and service level agreement (SLA) between marketing and sales.
  • Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, videos, infographics, quizzes, listicles, video, guides etc.).
  • Manage and optimize overall marketing budget to maximize ROI in space filled with very deep pocketed competitors.
     
Requirements:
 
  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
  • Experience with managing digital B2C demand generation.
  • Leadership experience to help team grow in expertise and job satisfaction.
  • Expert in end-to-end inbound marketing including: PPC, SEO, Content Strategy, Organic and Paid social media, influencer marketing. As owner of the marketing funnel, you must know what makes it generate customers – even if that includes a traditional channel from time to time.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to give leadership visibility into marketing efforts, successes and challenges.
  • Analytical and data obsessed to drive continuous improvement, optimize a team's approach and company forecast.
  • Proven and visible marketing veteran, with experience blogging, writing thought leadership pieces, speaking, and growing a personal audience on social media.
