Essential Functions:
 
Raisers Edge/NETCOMMUNITY
  • Perform daily maintenance and enhancement of all donors, prospect and other constituent records using Raiser's Edge and NetCommunity. Monitor and maintain the accuracy, integrity and security of all data; perform imports and exports: manage segmentation attributes, and other data coding.
  • Create and implement up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures for entry and reporting and ensure all entries conform to these procedures.
  • Create funds, campaigns and appeals in line with the organization's structure and the Finance Department coding system.
  • Manage and produce gift reports, action reports, prospect reports and mailing lists.
  • Create online registrations and donation pages. Import all internet donations into donor database.
  • Supervise gift/constituent entry done by other staff members.
  • Send out acknowledgments (and invoices for pledges) for all donations including in-kind donations.
  • Maintain accuracy of constituent contact information by performing periodic auditing and cleanup of data
  • Act as the point person for the integration of new agency donor databases into the agency-wide system.
 
Revenue Reconciliation
  • Work closely with the Finance staff to provide reports and documentation for financial reconciliation to facilitate and accuracy between the accounting database and Raiser's Edge.
  • Reconcile and close weekly development financials on time.
  • Process, or oversee the processing of, all department pledges and invoices.
  • Manage credit card gift processing and documentation.
 
Reporting
  • Develop and produce clear and accurate reporting and analysis in a timely basis for tracking donor engagement, events, appeals and other fundraising activities.
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
 
  • Minimum five years of experience in Raiser's Edge, preferably as an administrator in a non-profit fundraising environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent recordkeeping, writing, communications and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Must be flexible and operate efficiently in a team environment, as well as be able to work independently.
  • Self-starter who will proactively take on projects.
  • Extremely organized detail oriented and able to keep accurate records and follow up.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Agency's mission and philosophy, and the ability to communicate and apply it effectively in all areas of responsibility.
  • Ability to be patient and sensitive to individuals with disabilities.
 
Qualifications:
 
Education: BA/BS in a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of corporate fundraising experience (preferably in non-profit)
