My direct client in the Seaport area of Boston is hiring a Product Manager.

Summary
The Product Manager will be responsible for defining the business requirements and working with scrum teams to deliver on product features that make up my client's payment platform, which includes mobile applications, web portals, mobile SDKs, and REST APIs. This position is responsible for both product planning and delivery, including managing products and solutions throughout the product lifecycle; gathering and prioritizing requirements; defining the vision, and working closely with engineering to deliver new features an incremental enhancements to our platform. The Product Manager will act as the product owner for multiple products that make up the platform. The Product Manager will synthesize the needs of our partners and merchants; perform market and competitor analysis; and determine product priorities. They will be the internal champion for their product area and will articulate a vision to various stakeholders, continuously working to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction targets are met – in turn supporting the company's overall strategy and goals.


Duties / Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the overall product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market for my client's payment platform.
  • Build and maintain use cases and user stories around the platform and communicate them effectively to build consensus and co-ordination of schedules with project managers, engineers and designers to deliver high-quality payment product features.
  • Communicate product roadmap, vision, and priorities to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and facilitate the intake of market requirements and maintain competitor analysis.
  • Maintain a prioritized product backlog, business requirement documents and lead scrum team planning sessions.
  • Work with internal stakeholders across the organization to ensure delivery of product enhancements that protect and grow new and existing revenue streams.
  • Work with the in-house graphic design team the create new user interfaces and user experiences for our users - ranging from small business owners to enterprise clients and administrators
  • Contribute to the development of product management guidelines, policies, and procedures to facilitate the on-time and accurate delivery of customer and market requirements.
  • Ensure clear articulation of the core positioning and messaging for the products including creating concise internal and external documentation and materials.
  • Work with other departments (sales, marketing, support, etc.) to build business cases and go-to-market plans for new features, releases, and products to penetrate the target audience.
  • Make build, buy, or partner recommendations for various enhancements to the mobile platform.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for payment platform.
