Location: Dallas, TX (near Pleasant Grove)
Duration: Full Time, Long-term Contract
Rate: DOE

Major Functions:
  • Supports the packaging needs of home improvement retail with product launches, line extensions, and branding updates
  • Responsible for managing multiple artwork projects from design, through the approval process to the final mechanical files released for printed packaging
  • Works with the Product Marketing Team, Manufacturing, and Brand/Marketing managers to obtain technical information, correct dielines and carton specifications. Provides timelines to various teams.
  • Develops artwork with the graphics team that are in line with brand strategies
  • Proofs artwork against check list
  • Prioritizes and monitors art development and approval processes while adhering to fast turn times
  • Reviews mock-ups, ink draw downs, and vendor's proofs for final approval
  • Archives final PDFs

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet Applications required
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator and File formats
  • 5+ years of direct work experience with packaging or consumer facing products
  • Print Production background
  • Project/Traffic Management coordinating project requirements and delivering on time within a marketing organization
  • Strong track record of effective communication skills working with different internal and external teams

  • Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Has a strong working knowledge and understanding of pre-press, creative, and packaging print production methods
  • Self-starter with strong multitasking, organization, project management, problem resolution, and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects in order to meet all expectations
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills for the purpose of accomplishing work objectives; developing relationships with other individuals by listening, sharing ideas, and appreciating other's efforts and point of views
  • Performs duties with some latitude for independent judgment and decision making within the framework of the position
