Primary responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related tothe companies online Policy Issuance System.
  • Respond to wholesale agent queries either via email or over the phone.
  • Conduct system training webinars to the newly appointed agents or when new products are rolled out, which includes walking them through the system functions as well as answering their UW questions.
  • Participates in creating recommendations for tools and processes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Help Desk Operations.
  • Escalate calls to appropriate team members if time based targets are not met or if call is beyond scope of understanding or authority.
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge.
  • Good creative problem solving skills, an independent thinker, and a dedication to agents' satisfaction.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing of the Policy Issuance System. This will involve creation of test scenarios.
  • Handle miscellaneous tasks as required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the insurance industry preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in user acceptance system testing
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize to meet multiple demands and dead-lines
  • Self-directed team player
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point (preferred)
