This role is a Data Analytics Manager in a communications world – straddling the intersection between numbers and messages. Daily, you will implement tools and strategies to translate raw data into valuable business insights with scale and repeatability.

The Manager will act as the day-to-day leader of analytics for their respective accounts, as well as support the greater team in new business initiatives. You will work with creative and planning and help execute strategies that will propel the company forward while having the opportunity to develop methods that are new to the industry.

The ideal candidate must be data agnostic, willing to leverage information from a bevy of sources to best analyze the problem and forge a solution. This role will primarily support the digital team at Zeno Group and will interact with every facet of the organization. If you have an affinity for the widest gamut of data and are yearning to augment your knowledge, this role will allow you access to some of the most diverse data sets around.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in a client-facing analytics/consultant role
  • Strong scripting and programming foundations and ability to understand new data structures
  • Experience with applied statistics, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression and experience with tools such as R and Python or any other scripting language
  • Ability to write and implement functional API's along with a working knowledge of SQL
  • Understanding of marketing and the various metrics that come with them, with a particular focus in digital metrics
  • Experience with digital tools, including but not limited to: Google Analytics, Adobe Marketing Suite, DCM, Crimson Hexagon, NewsWhip, Meltwater
  • Experience with data visualization tools, i.e. Tableau, Domo, Oragami Logic, IBM Watson
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in Information Management/Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or similar
  • Pluses, but not required:
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, PHP
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture, direct experience with AWS, HDFS a big plus
  • Experience with Mobile Analytics
  • Ability to compile script into running applications
