My direct client in Washington DC is hiring a full time/perm Senior CRM Specialist. The ideal candidate must have experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Ellucian CRM!

The Senior CRM Specialist will be responsible for architecting, implementing and supporting the Enterprise Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform in support of the University's various business needs. The CRM products supported by this position, including Ellucian's CRM Recruit and CRM Advise, are based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM which is extended using Web APIs, JavaScript, Envision, and .NET programming languages. This position is responsible for providing technical support and expertise to CRM system users and administrators across campus. The position will also perform technical troubleshooting, integrating existing systems and services into the CRM architecture, providing support for upgrades, data migrations, trouble shooting performance and product related issues.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience /training.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 8+ years' experience with increasing responsibility implementing medium and large scale IT projects
  • 5+ years' experience implementing and configuring CRM solutions
  • Knowledge of database concepts, requirements analysis, business process management and system troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience in integrating existing systems and services into the CRM architecture
  • Experience working with HTML5, JavaScript and .NET
  • Excellent communication skills, leadership and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, multi-task effectively, and manage priorities across multiple staff and academic units
  • Availability after-hours to support staff as needed
  • Desire & ability to learn and apply new skills / technologies quickly
  • Proactive, results oriented and can-do attitude
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM products
  • Experience with an Ellucian enterprise CRM product
  • Experience with higher education processes
  • Experience with Colleague Envision programing
  • Ability to follow SDLC and iterative processes, change control
  • Experience developing web applications using the Microsoft technology stack (IIS, C#, .Net, TFS, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, XML, etc.)
  • Ability to lead negotiations with business partners and vendors and strong customer facing skills
