Purpose: Leverage Technical Skills and provide support to over 600 members working in the Fort Washington, PA office as well as remote users across the US. Resolve issues with hardware and software in a timely manner, focusing on customer service and escalating issues as needed to ensure resolution.

Key Objectives:

• Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone or electronically
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
• Research questions using available information resources
• Follow standard help desk procedures
• Escalate issues to appropriate resource as needed
• Identify, prioritize and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
• Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
• Installation and support of new equipment, including laptops, desktops, tablets, iPads, Avaya phones and cellphones.
• Support network printers and other computer hardware as needed
• Provide support to Microsoft OS 7/8 and Office 2010/2013 Suite
• Assist in procurement of new hardware and software
• Provide cellphone and telephony support to end-uses
• Support and lead small and large IT projects

Job Holder Specification:

• College education and/or necessary technical degree
• Experience working in helpdesk or desktop support environment 
• Desire to work hard, be challenged and strive for professional growth and development

Required:
• Experience working in a Windows network environment
• Ability to support desktops/laptops/tablets running Windows XP/7/8
• Microsoft Office Suite 2010/2013 knowledge and experience
• Administrative experience in Active Directory, Exchange
• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN Networking principles
• Knowledge and experience configuring and supporting printers
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Customer service orientation
• Problem-solving and analytics skills
• Hunger and drive for knowledge and professional growth
• Ability to learn at an accelerated pace

Preferred experience:
• Previous helpdesk or desktop support experience
• Avaya Telephony knowledge a plus
• Experience supporting Call Center environment a plus
• Microsoft or Comptia certifications a plus
