Job Description:


As Business Development Executive, this person will strive to grow revenue with new clients, industries and verticals. This new business development executive will work with the CEO and account managers to hand off new business to existing account managers once the account is up and running. The executive will be rewarded for number of accounts opened and for continued growth of existing clients.

Business development will lead clients and work through the agreed upon new client scope of projects, work with the project manager to manage the client's expectations and timelines to ultimately grow the business from the start. This position requires working closely with the CEO, creative, project management and technology departments. This position is expected to manage across multiple accounts, industries and verticals, so multi-tasking skills are a plus. This new business and account lead will help to ensure projects are delivered to the clients satisfactorily to grow revenue, leading to additional new client business.

Job Duties:
  • Responsible for new revenue growth
  • Responsible for managing clients expectations and satisfaction
  • Manage clients and project account revenue, profit and growth
  • Guide team in the areas of client growth strategy, client needs, market and industry competitive growth while working with design and technology requirements internally
  • Work with project manager to manage all client expectations and workflow
  • Monitor client industries, and potential projects with both internal and external resources
  • Ensure client is satisfied, has all needs met, ensure internal resources are meeting client's satisfaction, account profits and deadlines are identified and managed day-to-day to successfully exceed client expectations.
  • Work with account management team to manage projects, new client proposals, project or agreement scope of work, along with internal and external resources needed to grow the business.
  • Manage client scope creep with account manager by communicating daily/weekly with the client about the scope and/or additional resources
  • Communicate client successes and milestones, recognizing these both internally and with the client.
  • Communicate and drive cross-departmental acceptance of project deadlines, milestones, and end-product delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Present to clients in a lead role with account management
  • Be a vocal participant in the client's insights and strategy
  • Continually seek ways to add value to the client and agency by bringing value added strategies and account efficiencies.
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of clients' business, its competitors and industries and, corresponding challenges and opportunities.
  • Develop strong relationships within the team members at all levels to accomplish client and company goals.
  • Demonstrate ability to ask and close revenue opportunities

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in new business development / client services at a studio, marketing firm, or business/tech services
  • Experience with creative production, digital creative and technology projects a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required – Business, Marketing, Sales Management or Digital discipline preferred
  • Solid track record of growing clients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple internal and external relationships
  • Superior communication skills needed – verbally, written and listening
  • Must be an active team player & champion team-centric approach to project management/execution
  • Must be comfortable presenting and persuading a wide-range of talent/resources and opinions
  • Solid business development skills –focus on driving revenue
