Role: Workday Technical Consultant/Developer
Duration: 6+ months Contract
Location: Lake Bluff, IL

The Workday technical consultant/developer works closely with the HRIS team to ensure successful development of Workday's various Integration and Reporting products, tools, and services. The technical consultant will help manage the integration and reporting deliverables associated with Workday & other HR system projects. This role must have a deep knowledge of service oriented architecture design principals, in-depth knowledge of Workday's various reporting and integration technologies, Workday's Implementation methodology, and will combine those skills to deliver successful integrations and reports.

• Design, Build, Test, and Deploy Integration and Reporting solutions associated with Workday system.
• Work with Business users and HRIS functional teams to gather requirements.

• Provide guidance on integration and reporting strategies and Workday best practices.
• Debug and triage integration and reporting issues and defects. Implement and test fixes where necessary.
• Provide technical assistance for any questions raised by HRIS functional team and/or business.
• Monitor integration jobs and work with functional team to resolve any issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and support testing from development till post production supports.
• Coordinate assigned deliverable schedules to ensure timelines are met.
• Participate in daily status calls and notify technical lead of any issues, risks, constraints foreseen in the overall implementation.
Key requirements:
• 3+ years of experience working and building reports and integrations with Workday HCM system in a professional, fast-paced environment
• Workday certifications preferred (Workday integrations)

• Expert in building and maintaining inbound/outbound integrations and reports in Workday functional such as WFA, Talent, Recruiting, Benefit, Compensation and Payroll.
• Excellent Workday integration skills with Workday setup using Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, PICOFs, Web Services, REST APIs.
• Strong experience in building and maintaining calculated fields in Workday
• Excellent report writing skills in building reports in all types, Advanced, Matrix, BIRT, Dashboard, etc.
• Strong Experience with web service integrations (SOAP, WSDL, XML, XSLT)
• Proven ability to successfully juggle multiple projects and priorities and able to shift direction quickly when priorities change
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to partner with business, HRIS teams including technical and non-technical at all levels
• Ability to work in a diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams.
