The ESB-Mediator Integration Lead will be responsible for owning the overall design of the ESB Mediator solution implementation (custom or product strategy) as well as recommending best practices for solutions based on client business needs. This role as an Integration Lead will require strategic design and mapping of business requirements and solutions to system/technical requirements. The Integration Lead will also be responsible for writing a technical specification (for custom development, system integration, etc.) based on interactions directly with the customer and professional services team. These specifications will need to be precise and clear as the Integration Lead will delegate some work to fellow team members such as developers, consultants, or product support / documentation. Ideally the Integration Lead is engaged in best practice development initiatives, provides thoughtful leadership, and familiarity with proven cloud solutions that support vertical objectives.

  • Understand, evaluate, and document the business technical requirements and make recommendations for ways that systems and applications can best fulfill those needs based on functional and technical capabilities and limitations
  • Work with the business to develop functional specifications using approved templates and guidelines
  • Solicit client requirements through interviews, workshops and/or existing systems documentation or procedures
  • Perform detailed analysis resulting in documented, unambiguous system requirements
  • Document detailed use cases that cover all potential and exception flows, supplementing use cases with real world scenarios
  • Using JIRA, develop test plans, schedules and data. Track results, document and resolve bugs
  • Leverage deep technical knowledge of all systems in the ecosystem and understanding of business needs to make knowledgeable recommendations for solutions
  • Lead business in User Acceptance Testing
  • Responsible for Service Now Tier 3 Requests and incidents for their applications.  This includes follow through until enhancement or incident is tested and resolved
  • Participate with IT and business concerning vendor selection process
  • Work with the Project Manager to compile CAB documentation
  • Work with Application Developer, Infrastructure Team, Support Desk and Product Manager to develop Run Books using approved template
  • Oversee the relationship between the Business, Architecture, Development and Testing functions teams throughout the project life cycle to improve the quality of collaboration and communication
  • Attend project meetings
  • Lead both requirements and design sessions with stakeholders and provide technical expertise to drive requirements gathering and solutioning conversations
  • Work with Mediator system teams and ESB development team to ensure that data mapping and metadata models/definition are aligned across all systems to meet business needs
  • As needed, conduct business training
  • Serve as a resource for QA team to define test plans and continuously improve the quality of test plans such that all technical bases are covered in the course of testing
  • Work closely with the QA team and release manager to ensure all identified scenarios are properly tested and defects are resolved and a quality end user product is delivered
  • Ensure all IT policies & procedures are followed
  • Works effectively and individually with Technical and Non-Technical team members and customers

  • Is able to exercise independent judgment, and take the lead role on enterprise level project with minimal direction from a director or engagement manager
  • Able to understand business modeling concepts and business application development.
  • Demonstrates excellent analytical skills with ability to analyze complex system requirements
  • Strong MS Suite skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
  • Good understanding of SDLC - Agile, iterative etc. processes and change management principles
  • Proactive driver of results
  • Must understand all aspects of the business and the systems involved, with a good technical understanding
  • 5 years experience overseeing technical multi-system integrations
  • Complete understanding of Enterpise Integration patterns, fluent in message queueing architectecture. Deep knowledge of SOA and MicroServices arhcitectures
