The Sr. Ecommerce & Digital Business Analyst will play a key role in planning, executing and measuring the impact of the digital productivity business model. Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing & Communications, this position significantly contributes to the business by providing guidance to senior leaders in the organization regarding ecommerce partner growth, monetization of online product listings and digital marketing effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of ecommerce and digital marketing best practices but have a core emphasis in web analytics, business intelligence and attribution. This position will lead the creation of digital analytics strategies, attribution and dashboards to effectively communicate insights that drive profitable growth. This position must be able to effectively work cross-functionally with multiple internal stakeholders.
Ecommerce Partner Growth
•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize the launch of products on ecommerce channel partner and marketplace websites.
•Analyze opportunities for sales and profitability growth through enhanced content, inventory levels, product mix, pricing, availability and fulfilment.
•Develop and execute strategic advertising programs through partner websites to maximize contribution revenue.
•Evaluate and recommend new ecommerce partners both domestically and abroad.
Ecommerce Referral Growth
•Analyze the product mix of users clicking through from the client website to purchase through ecommerce channel partners.
•Prioritize products to become ecommerce enabled through the cleint website based on market demand, user behavior and traffic flow to maximize ecommerce sales at the client's distribution partners.
•Quantify the revenue passed through to distribution partners and create ongoing methods to communicate that value to internal and external stakeholders.
•Leverage ecommerce data to drive the sale of incremental products through distribution partners.
Digital Business Intelligence
•Utilize data from multiple sources to provide recommendations that improve marketing ROI, website usability and customer lifecycle management.
•Collaborate with IT business partners to create world class attribution models for sales cycles exceeding 12 months.
•Ensure data integrity in all analytics and digital reporting modules.
•Create digital dashboards that easily communicate insights from complex data sets to key cross-functional stakeholders.
•Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, MIS, or related field
•5+ years of experience in digital analytics and/or business intelligence
•Proven experience building multichannel digital attribution models from the ground up
•Experience in driving online sales of manufactured products through ecommerce channel partners
•Experience using MarketTrack is highly preferred
•Experience managing products through online marketplaces
•Experience with Amazon Sponsored Products is preferred
•General knowledge of digital space including demand generation, ad retargeting, email marketing SEM, etc.
•Proficient extracting and standardizing data from a wide variety of platforms
•Expert user of web analytics, tag management and advanced conversion goals.
•Passion for data driven marketing
•Experience marketing for manufacturing industry in a B2B environment a plus
