Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for end-to-end management of up to 10 assigned projects with a duration that varies from a few months to multiple years; primarily SaaS implementations (waterfall), back-end technology projects, and internal application developments (agile/hybrid).
  • Work with IT Business Partners, Business Sponsors and other stakeholder to create project management plans that are aligned to internal expectations and the general PMI guidelines, with focus on defining scope, project governance model, roles & responsibilities, scheduling, planned cost, communication, etc.
  • Primary: manage day-to-day project activities: coordinate meetings, facilitate meetings, distribute meeting minutes, maintain action-item lists, facilitate decision making, active problem solving, issue escalation, proactively managing project risks etc. Secondary: review user stories (agile), attend scrum meetings with offshore development teams (agile).
  • Provide weekly project status updates to global IT teams, and input for quarterly project portfolio review meetings with Business Leaders: including cost analysis, approved scope changes etc.
  • Creation and management of key project artefacts, and post-project business benefits analyses.
  • Any other tasks that require a PM skillset, or contribute to the project's business benefit realization.
Requirements & Experience:
  • Highly organized, excellent project planning skills, and a strong communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable about industry best practices for IT project management (Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid); has experience in creating and managing key project artefacts. PMP certification (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Has a general understanding of IT risk/compliance requirements, online application architecture, finance, application development languages, software integrations, SDLC, etc.
  • Effective and efficient communicator: a direct, straightforward style, able to cut to the core quickly (verbally, in email and by using PowerPoint / Keynote).
  • Excellent people and team management skills, able to manage upwards and influence in a complex environment.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
