Location: Westwood, MA 
Duration: 4-5 months with possibility of extension 
Rate: Open, dependent on experience 

The Visual Designer will be responsible for supporting the client's Digital Strategy and Channel Management team in creating visual assets for their website's desktop and mobile experiences.

Essential Functions:  
  • Creating digital desktop and mobile visual assets to deliver to business partners and developers
  • Advocate for UX best practices in customer-centric experiences
  • Interaction with product owners, developers, business partners, and Digital team members in working project environment.
  • Ability to create rapid prototypes is a plus
  • Working within a fast-paced environment and ability to work with Agile development team
  • Support client's brand and existing stylesheets and ability to expand on such.
  • Implement changes to customer content in order to provide speed to market changes to the website
  • Works collaboratively with business and support partners to drive cross-functional alignment
  • Understand and ensure compliance with relevant client territory regulations, brand guidelines, ADA standards and quality assurance guidelines.

  • 5+ years' experience as visual/UX designer for end-to-end, customer-facing, digital experiences.
  • Strong portfolio showing history of high-quality visual design execution
  • Knowledge of key design programs including Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InVision
  • Ability to research and speak to best-in-class digital landscape, and ability to advocate for their designs.
  • Must be customer-oriented with the ability to create effective communications, messaging and content.
  • Ability to multi task, prioritize and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with acute attention to detail.
  • Strong skills in organizing files, both in folders and within the tool,  including naming of pages, layers, and assets.
  • Ability to think in mobile/responsive mindset, and design to both mobile and desktop.
  • Desire to work collaboratively and experienced in team environments
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), strong interpersonal and strong business acumen
  • Ownership of personal MAC a plus.
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
  • Master of key design programs including Sketch, InVision, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Understanding of Office 360 tools, Outlook, and Skype helpful
  • Industry knowledge a plus
Undergraduate degree in Design, Art, Computer Science, or equivalent
