Title: Senior Product Designer​
Type: Contract to Hire 
Location: San Francisco, CA 

This role will be working to help create and implement a component base design system cross-platform on iOS and Android, including multiple breakpoints for a fully responsive web experience.  You will be reporting to the head of design, and working directly with our web engineers, product team, brand team, and other product designers within the org to create a fresh new look and feel across all platforms.  This is a contract position with the option to join full-time (contract-to-hire), so please apply if you have the bandwidth and show us what you got!

About You:
  • Expert creating and working with component based design ex: “Atomic Design”
  • Distinctive style and a strong understanding of modern web design principles, ecommerce and social platform fundamentals
  • Work well with a team of designers, give and receive feedback well, and have great communication.
  • Comfortable working directly with engineering leads to make their hard work look and feel absolutely stunning
  • Possess a strong portfolio of digital product work (ios, android, and fully responsive web)
  • You’ve attended a live event in the last 12 months, using a platform to purchase tickets (and imagined ways to make it easier/better … we do this all the time!)
  • 5+ years of experience working with cross platform design including android, iOS and web with work examples to back it up
  • Prior experience designing for a consumer-facing e-commerce product is required
  • A strong foundation in graphic visual and interaction design
  • A deep knowledge of frontend applications and technologies
  • Expert knowledge of Sketch, Adobe CC and other design tools
  • Experience with building scalable designs and style-guides
  • Experience in brand development, marketing communications, product innovation and/or design agencies
  • Experience with copywriting for user experience
