My direct client has an immediate need for a Document Specialist to assist the Administrative Services Department with system documentation.

Document Specialist (Administrative Services)
Job Type: 3-6+ Months Contract
Start Date: ASAP

The Document Specialist responsibilities would include, but no be limited to:
  • Gathering, analyzing, translating and composing technical and non-technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel. The documents will be used for internal training, as well as external training by the company's agents.
  • Interview technical and non-technical support to determine usage instructions and procedures.
  • Update and maintain documentation including distribution of changes throughout the entire system implementation. We anticipate multiple phases in 2018 for the system implementation.
  • Assist the trainer in creating training material.
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in MSWord or WordPerfect
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office and Visio
  • Capable of working with others in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong technical writing skills
  • Must be able to describe complicated processes accurately, precisely, and clearly.
  • Sound decision making and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
