What You'll Do
The Web/Social Digital Designer, who will support online marketing and be responsible for the ad production process, producing effective digital solutions for the Business Unit. This role coordinates with internal and external customers and resources, completes creative requests, researches and screens all materials and takes the necessary steps to ensure compliance with ad specifications and standards. The web/Social Digital Designer will excel at providing brand compliance and analytically-driven creative ideas to solve design problems.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Create, design, and develop digital assets to support interactive campaigns including email blasts, microsites, landing pages, web pages, microsites, GIFS, animations, and other projects with an eye to keep designs on brand and mobile first mind set.
  • Help bring new ideas for digital design and content creation to the team using expertise and eye for great design.
  • Support web design projects and work closely with cross-functional working groups to create digital and mobile solutions that take all aspects of the consumer experience into account including visual design, organization, interface design, etc.
  • Clarify job requests, consolidate materials and produce creative work within predetermined timeframes
  • Conduct final proof of digital marketing content before creative is released for launch.
  • Work closely with creative team members, marketing colleagues and ecomm colleagues to support to ensure that digital campaigns run promptly, efficiently and effectively to provide the best value and results.
  • Complete assigned creative requests in workflow, communicating status of projects in queue to project manager and Account Manager.
  • Troubleshoot live creative and production issues, escalating concerns to proper developer and vendor contacts and key stakeholders
  • Ensure on brand continuity in visual messaging across all digital channels.
  • Act as subject matter expert and direct point of contact for creative vendors, attending webinars on new releases and best practices, documenting processes and communicating updates to design teammates
What We Are Looking For
This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or Advertising with a digital focus. We are looking for a candidate with 3-5 years of strong experience in designing for digital platforms including desktop web, tablet, mobile, and native apps.
Other qualifications include:
  • Significant experience in layout for digital, including social media, and with proven graphic design skills and experience
  • Advanced experience utilizing graphics programs within the Adobe Creative Suite (CC+ preferred), specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and basic knowledge of web UX production. These creative abilities should be visible through the implementation of design elements in the applicant's previous work.
  • *Able to design, update and optimize digital assets for multiple platforms.
  • *Able to edit content to build a library of short form videos for use on websites and social media.
  • Strong interests and capabilities in the design and development of engaging user experiences
  • Outstanding online portfolio demonstrating an understanding of design fundamentals (typography, color, layout) and success in creating engaging marketing collateral
  • Proficient in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects or similar technologies is a plus
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Strong understanding of User Experience and love for problem solving
