Senior UX Designer
Job Type: 6 Month Contract-to-Hire

My direct client has an immediate need for a Senior-Level UX Designer to join their team. MUST HAVE PORTFOLIO AND EXAMPLES OF CASE STUDIES.

Join a lean agile UX design team in an innovation lab -- a startup environment within a major financial firm, whose mission is to transform client experience, push boundaries on what digital can be, and make company processes more efficient.

- 5+ years of experience working in the UX field
- Demonstrated excellence with UX design, as distinct from branding or advertising
- Experience working in an agile environment

- Experience in a collocated setting (i.e., worked closely with developers and content strategists)
- Ability to think through a user experience, starting with a journey map, and leading through data flow (flow chart), hand-drawn sketches, lo-fidelity wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Experience conducting user research, such as unmoderated testing, or workshops and exercises such as card sorting
- Experience with UX Pin, Sketch, InVision, Framer are a plus. Candidate must be able to pick up new platforms on the job as these may change.
- Experience and familiarity with CSS global styles, and React components -- you won't be writing code, but must be able to have productive conversations with developers to ensure quality designs.
- Experience designing responsive experiences across breakpoints for desktop, tablet, and phone
- High comfort level taking on work while managers may be in meetings for the day, geared toward presenting the work to manager at end of day

- Must be very punctual with all meetings and deadlines
