My retail client is looking for an Assistant Manager, Global Email Marketing to drive their eCommerce and brick and mortar businesses through email marketing, customer analytics and other digital marketing channels. This is a full time role reporting into the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing and eCommerce.

  • Manage the global email marketing program to drive traffic, sales, and customer retention
  • Lead the email marketing process including content planning, creative process management, segmentation, HTML build, QA and deployment and reporting.
  • Analyze omni-channel customer database to find engagement and revenue opportunities through content, segmentation, activation/reactivation, and testing.
  • Hands-on implementation and management of ESP, including updates to data model, segments, automations and customer journeys.
  • Develop and execute email testing plan – including creative/content, landing page, day-of-week and time-of-day tests
  • Introduce and manage online and offline acquisition programs to drive database growth
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as creative, product management, merchandising, social, PR and retail to produce and launch campaigns and acquisition programs
  • Partner with EMEA and APAC regions on localization of email marketing and CRM strategies, ensuring brand consistency and best practice execution
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in CRM or email marketing
  • Highly analytical and proficient in Microsoft Excel and web analytics tools (Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics). SQL knowledge a plus.
  • Hands-on expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar ESP) including HTML content build, dynamic content, segmentation, testing and automation.
  • Knowledge of email best practices around deliverability, A/B testing, dynamic content, and automated campaigns
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and basic HTML
  • Knack for creativity and storytelling
  • Must have a positive attitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
