My direct client in Reston, Virginia is hiring a passionate IT Help Desk Technician to provide excellent internal support to employees across multiple locations. Candidates must be a US Citizen or GreenCard holder and have 2 years+ experience working in a Windows/Mac environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle Tier 1 help desk requests and escalations received through tickets or phone
  • Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution
  • Create accounts and configure hardware as part of on-boarding and off-boarding process
  • Support audio and video equipment in conference rooms
  • Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records
  • Document internal procedures
  • Manage and maintain internal network across multiple locations (Reston, DC, NY)
  • Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
  • Manage and support VOIP systems

Qualifications & Experience Requirements
  • Windows 7/10, Mac OS X, Ubuntu
  • Office 365, Active Directory maintenance
  • Mac and PC hardware, Printers, scanners, computer peripherals, Mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows)
  • Network and Connectivity - ethernet, TCP/IP and VPN
  • File server knowledge
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users
  • 2 years+ experience working in a Windows/Mac environment
