General Overview:
The Marketing Analytics and Strategy team is responsible for delivering data-driven insights and making strategic recommendations to the newly integrated Marketing & Ecommerce team. Through consumer research, testing, and campaign analysis, the Analytics and Strategy team helps ensure that our marketing is targeted and optimized in order to drive traffic, sales, and ROI.

The Marketing Analytics Manager will analyze marketing data to evaluate campaign effectiveness and make recommendations for improved performance over time. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to each of our Marketing channel managers and will synthesize insights across channels for each of our marketing campaigns. They will play a key role both in defining and automating daily and weekly dashboards and insights to each of the Marketing teams, and in designing & implementing methodologies to test hypotheses.

The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, passionate and creative. They have a deep understanding of marketing, and will design new ways to leverage our wealth of data both to improve the experience of our existing customer base and to acquire new customers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Own and continually optimize ongoing reporting to various channel marketing managers across online and offline media
  • Partner with the Email Marketing team to design customer segmentation and optimize targeting.
  • Partner with the Brand Marketing team and external agencies to design acquisition targeting and upload custom audiences to social channels
  • Partner with Loyalty team to grow and enhance our loyalty consumer base.
  • Lead campaign hindsight reporting and benchmarking across channels, working closely with marketing managers to continuously refine strategies through a test and learn approach
  • Design and implement ad-hoc testing and analysis methodologies to address strategic business questions for senior leadership
  • Use a combination of demographic, purchase, and behavioral data to tell compelling data stories about our key consumer and acquisition segments

Job Requirements:
  • 2-3+ years of Marketing Analytics experience in a fast paced, multi-channel, retail or agency environment.
  • Strategic thinker experienced translating business questions into methodologies, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations.
  • Brand or agency experience in the Marketing/Advertising industry required.
  • Solid understanding of omni-channel and lifecycle marketing analysis.
  • Strong time and project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-disciplined, adaptable and results-oriented in an environment that requires creativity and strong attention to detail.
  • 2+ years experience with: SQL (required), Google and Adobe Analytics (required), Facebook Insights (preferred).
  • Python/SAS/R proficiency preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, demonstrated ability to work cross-functionality, strong presentation skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office, strong Excel skills.
