This is a temporary to permanent position. 

Provide business and data analysis to support Financial data business needs. 

This position requires experience with full project life-cycle, with particular focus on identification and documentation of business requirements, data validation and analysis, development of key business processes, business rules, data sourcing strategies, and user support. 

Act as a liaison between the business client and developer to understand, document, and communicate to the project team the business need. Create detailed requirements of the business need as it relates to database tables. Extract and validate data from the data warehouse to confirm data integrity, quality, security, and ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliant controls are met. Lead enterprise projects. Serve as Subject Matter Expert in the recognized area of support. Communicate regularly with the project team to provide project status updates and to ensure problems are recognized and addressed before they endanger the success of the project. Mentor junior staff through project life-cycle and guidance in day-to-day tasks. 

This position may be matrixed across multiple data warehouse projects simultaneously and serves as a liaison between Information Technology and the broader business community. The ability to take direction and work independently is expected in this role. 

Basic Qualifications: 
-5+ years of experience with hands-on business and data analysis 
- 5+ advanced to senior level experience with Toad and/or SQL 
- 5+ years experience facilitating information-gathering and validation sessions 
- 5+ years experience eliciting, documenting and validating data requirements 
- 5+ years experience leading enterprise data specific projects throughout the project life-cycle including requirements gathering, design, testing, rollout, and implementation from a BA perspective. 
- 5+ years experience working with databases and an advanced understanding of database concepts 
-Ability to collaborate with technical teams to review business requirements and documentation, resolve issues relating to data or business logic, perform analysis and research, manage deadlines across multiple deliverables, and provide resolutions to production issues 
- Possession of mid to senior leadership skills 
- Ability to mentor junior staff through day-to-day work tasks. 
- Experience with performing Level Of Effort (LOE) analysis. 
- Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing priorities. 
- Possession of excellent interpersonal, organization, and time management skills 
-High School diploma or GED equivalent 

Additional requirements: 
- Bachelor's degree preferred 
- Experience in a data warehousing environment 
- Understanding of data modeling techniques 
-Experience with managing applications that meet Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) process and access controls
